Every storm takes a little more of an unprotected bank. A properly built bulkhead — sheet pile, walers, tie-backs and deadmen — holds the line for 30+ years.
We build most walls in vinyl sheet pile today: it never rots, never rusts and holds its color.

Assess the failure
Leaning wall, washouts behind it, rotted cap — we find the cause before quoting the fix.

Drive sheeting
Sheets driven from the barge or shore-side excavator to design embedment.

Tie back & cap
Walers, tie rods and deadmen installed, then backfilled and capped.

Bulkheads: what people ask
- Vinyl or timber bulkhead?
- Vinyl is the long-term choice — no rot, no marine borers, no staining. Timber is cheaper up front and still appropriate for some low-energy sites.
- Can you build in front of my old wall?
- Often yes. A new wall set just waterward of the failing one avoids demolition and keeps your yard intact.
- How long does a bulkhead last?
- Vinyl walls are typically warrantied 50 years. Timber walls average 20–25 years.
